Hi,
We are configuring a brand new Fortigate 60E with the latest firmware V5.6.0 build 1449 (GA).
After running the Setup Wizard I connected a laptop and we are getting some VERY BIZARRE settings from DHCP..... including a DNS Suffix Search List that just has a value of 'lan' in it.
This has stopped our Fortinet roll-out dead in its tracks as name resolution is not adding the correct DNS suffix.
e.g.
lscsv01
needs to be come
lscsv01.livingspace.local
NOT
lcssv01.lan
Has anyone come across this BUG ? Or is it a setting we have missed ? I can't see where to set the 'DNS Suffix Search List'......
Here is what we are getting on DHCP:
