AWS FortiGate Managed by Non-AWS FortiManager?

Can an AWS FortiGate deployment be managed by a non-AWS FortiManager? If so, are there any special instructions that need to be followed for configuring this integration? I have a scenario where we have both AWS infrastructure and conventional private datacenter infrastructure that we're trying to bring single-pane-of-glass management. In the same scenario, can an AWS Fortigate log to a non-AWS FortiAnalyzer? I figure if there is routing in place that connects the two sites, there shouldn't be any issues; however, I thought it'd be smart to check here first.

FortiManager (any models, hardware or VM) supports FGT-VM-AWS instances.
