Question

Windows 11 FortiClient v7.x blocks a Roboform process from starting (rf-chrome-nm-host.exe)

Hi,

We use FortiClient and I have noted that the v7.x version of the client (in Windows) blocks the RoboForm "rf-chrome-nm-host.exe" host process from starting. All is fine when using the v6.4x version of the client. This disables functionally this is inherently useful.

Specifically, it is the "FortiClient Service Scheduler" that stops this process from running.

  • Is there any reason for this?
  • What might be the best route to resolve the issue?

Cheers for any input.

Hi there :

Can you provide me the logs from the Forticlient side, please ? The logs should show you a reason why it's blocking.

Here is how you can export the logs from the FCT side

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/forticlient/7.0.2/administration-guide/544799/exporting-the-log-file

Thank you,

Hope.
