WIN11 25H2 Forticlient vpn doesnt work

Hi,

after the win 11 upgrade to 25h2 version more notebook/pc dont connect trough vpn ipsec .

IF I disable in network adapter the Fortinet NDIS packet can connet but dont reach any devices on remote network and dont receve traffic. I tried Forticlient 7.2, 7.4 versions but nothing.

Please HELP ME!

try installing the latest visual c++ redistributable, disabling IPv6 on the virtual adapter and update to the latest Realtek NIC drivers.

Thanks funkylicious but it doesn’t work , the vpn go on only if I disable the forticlinet NDIS Packet Filer but cannot reach the remote network.

try restarting also the IPsec Policy in services.msc

Hi ITM

This is very common issue, FortiClient VPN is sensitive to NIC driver change and Windows updates. Sometimes when you change the driver or patch the system your VPN dosn’t work anymore.

Possible solutions are:

Update, downgrade or change NIC driver
User other NIC for VPN
Wait for a new FortiClient version
Sometimes it can help to use older FortiClient version
Or rollback the Windows patch if possible

Thanks AEK I’ve already try the nic update/downgrade, use the Forticlient 6.4 , 7.2 and 7.4 but nothing. Why if I disable the Forticlient ndis packet the vpn get on but there is no traffic trough the VPN?
