What is the role of the Policy UUID in the IPv4 Police Log action?

I received a question today about what the Policy UUID does, and I could not answer it because I did not know.

 

Please let us know what POLICY UUID does and for what purpose.

It really depends on your logging and report capability and experiences. You can use that in   reports  generation or logging. You can even disable it if you have little  to no uses for UUID
