Web Filtering just not working

Hi everyone,

We have a Fortigate 50E, Web Filtering is active in the license.

In the Security Profiles - Web Filter - I have General Interest - Personal, everything blocked.

There is only 1 IPv4Policy LAN-WAN1 where I have activated the Web Filter. So it's very basic setup.

However, users can still reach all the sites like Facebook.com, LinkedIn.com etc etc

Why isn't this working?

Hello,

Did you set the SSL Inspection to "certificate-inspection" at least? Without this setting, the Fortigate will not be able to scan HTTPS traffic.
