Warm standby Fortigate in DR

Hi All,

I hoping to seek any input before I begin configuration. We have 2 Fortigate VMs in AWS, 1 in Prod and the other in another zone that we call Disaster Recovery. In the event that Production has an issue we can turn on our virtual machines in DR and run from there. The DR Fortigate is kind of a warm standby, it's turned on but not in HA with Prod and only to be used in a DR exercise. Internal IP addresses will remain the same in DR.

My question is if anybody else has a similar setup and how you go about managing consistency between the 2 environments.
