WAN Failover Fortigate

Hi Folks,

 

I have a question regarding the connection between a FortiManager and a Fortigate.

 

What happens if a fortigate executes a WAN failover while it's connected with a FortiManager? Does it automatically reconnect?

    Hi, Hoe does it work? Because the Fortigate will use a different public IP while communicating with the Fortimanager.

    That's the answer I was looking for. However, I can't find anything in the documentation related to your comment. So how do you know it works like you've described?
