VPN ssl with Belgian EID passport ?

Does Somebody has experiences to authentify VPN SSL user with PKI user through  EID  smart cart (Belgian passwort) with OS 5.2 ?

It was working with 5.0, but it seems due to a security issues.

A right root certificate is loaded on Forti and the goal is to use PKI user that exchange 'national registry number' and personal certificate' found on the smart card.
