VPN external gateway

Can anyone help understand what is to be given in Gateway & Hub IP

Screenshot is from Fortimanager > VPN Manager > Add External Gateway

hm I've set the same address object as gateway- and hub-ip (it points to the gateway ip)

type is hub

routing is set to manual

and the protected subnet is set to the subnet I need to reach behind that external gateway.

Local Gateway is 0.0.0.0.

All "Clients" that connect to that external gateway are configured as spokes.
