vpn connection

Hello,

when on vpn, there seems to be connection problems for the first few minutes, post which connection is fine.

this is on client 6.0.8 & 6.0.6.

Any indications will be helpful.

Can you please elaborate further more..

- Are we talking here about SSLVPN or IPSEC?

- Which kind of problem? any error message popout?

- Beside FCL 6.0.x , which FGT version you're using?

- Does this happen with all users?

- Have you troubleshoot the issue on FGT debug commands?

- sorry, yes this is sslvpn (client based)

- no messages, user gets connected to the vpn properly

but when trying to access resources access is very slow, which gets fine in few minutes(approx 5mins) time by itself

- client is 6.0.6 & 6.0.8 , fgt is 6.2.x

- only one user has reported it & i can't find anything about it in the notifications

- unsure of what commands can i use , please help.

- is there any way to look at the logs that are accumulated in the folder in windows..some files in there are in .dat format

please try the following debug command immediately after the client tries to access resources after connecting to the SSLVPN:

diagnose debug reset

diagnose debug disable

diagnose debug flow filter saddr <SSLVPN IP address of the client received from forti>

diagnose debug flow trace start 1000

diagnose debug enable
