Hello friends, a question:
Through fortigate or fortianalyzer, is it possible to view the "remote gateway" of user connections through the SSL VPN?

Hi unknown1020,

The default behavior for Windows SSLVPN user is they'll have their gateway address set to the assigned IP + 1. For example, the SSLVPN user got an IP of 10.212.134.200, their gateway IP would be 10.212.134.201.

Here is an article that discusses this behavior.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Denice

Hello, thanks for answering.

So it is not possible to view the IP of my ISP (the remote gateway that is configured in the forticlient) in the fortigate and fortianalyzer?

Hi @unknown1020,

From the logs, you can see what is the exit interface based on the firewall policy you created for SSLVPN to WAN connection.

If you are referring on the public IP being used, you could check it on the users device and  use IP checking website like whatsmyip.

Are you looking for this one; SSL-VPN widget in Dashboard? If you need to copy&paste the list, CLI command "get vpn ssl monitor" would be easier.
