Very slow download of larger files

Hi, 

I have FG-501E with FortiOS 7.2.6 and I don't know why downloading larger files (20-30MB) via Proxy from some websites is very slow (1bps). I've tried disabling the Antivirus profile but that didn't help. I thought the problem might be in "Comfort Clients" so I turned it off but downloading is not working at all. Does anyone have any idea?

Hi @Alfonziino,

What do you mean via proxy? Are you using a proxy server for downloading files? Can you try to download directly from the file source instead of using proxy and see if the speed increase?

Its not clear from initial description but do you have configured some sort of Traffic shapping enabled/configured ?

 

Is there any other upstream firewall ? 

what are the logs showing about those websites ?

Is it only happening with some specific websites ?
