VDOM enable on a transperent mode Fortigate 500D

I'm asking what would be the impact if i enabled Virtual Domains on FGT device in transparent mode with full configurations implemented in a production environment. i'm not seeing any warnings on the cookbook and i didn't implement it on a production environment with running configs before. so if you can advise it would be appreciated.

it seems that on cookbook this configuration was supposed to be made on a clean installation not meant to be started after you have implemented some changes on the firewall

Enabling vdom just shows everything you configured already are in "root" vdom, or in "global" for all global stuff. I don't think anything is special with transparent mode for this part.
