Using the FortiAnalyzer Macro in Reports

Hi,

Could someone give me some info/help what is the difference between a dataset and macro?

Also how to use the Macro in the reports?

I found how to create a macro in the admin guide. But I did not find how to use it and what is it designed for. (or maybe I missed that)

Hi there, you can insert a macro in layout editor. Run report, the queried result will be displayed as text. Please see attached screenshot.
