using fqdn as address type

when ever i create new address object using FQDN as address type, there is always an exclamation makr ! on the object ?

am i doing something wrong?

the exclamation mark on the left says "it is using unresolved FQDN"

Can you ping the FDQN from the command line of the FortiGate?

#exec ping FDQN

Maybe check the FGT DNS server configuration?

it works after i add external DNS servers eg. google dns servers.

previously i have 2 internal DNS servers on the setting

Then your internal DNS servers do not forward requests correctly. Do they point back to the FGT?
