Hi you can' t upload the config via console like with x-modem protocol. If you format the flash disk in the boot sequence you must use TFTP to load the firmware. Cheers Eric

I believe you can also restore the config file from a USB key as well.

Yep. Good point. I didn' t see the question was for the pre-boot config load. TFTP is the only option then.
