    Hello,

I strongly recommend to upgrade to 5.2.5 before upgrading to 5.2.7.

Some of my custom services (mainly UDP) were changed when I moved from 5.2.2 to 5.2.7....

    Regards

If you have the devices in HA, it is recommended to do 5.2.5->5.2.6->5.2.7

I've had issues with VPNs (dial-up)

the upgrade path document is available at http://docs.fortinet.com/d/supported-upgrade-paths-to-fortios-5.2

you used to be able to just upgrade from any version on the same release and sometimes more, but apparently that stopped being the case in 5.2. I have upgraded a box without following the proper steps and experienced all sorts of problems with VPN. Did the intermediate releases as noted and everything is fine.

Also- make sure to read the release notes and make sure ancillary stuff is on supported versions as well. I needed to update my single sign on agents before i moved to 5.2.7
