Upgrade to Forticlient 5.4.1 with forticlientEMS

Hi,

so we have Forticlient EMS(1.0.1) installed, and about 30 endpoints running forticlient 5.4.0.

 

Is there any way to push the new 5.4.1 fortclient to the endpoints on EMS?

Maybe I am blind but I cannot find any documentation on how to upgrade the endpoints.

I've just done this! All I did was create the new installation package under 'Software Manager', in my case 5.4.1. Then apply the package you've created to an EMS Profile, under the 'Install Option' tab select the new package. The new client will then be pushed out to the client PC's. I also enabled 'Schedule Installation' in that same tab to ensure the new package was pushed out.

Hi SteveG, i have actually tried that, but no luck. did you download 5.4.1 manually or does EMS do that?

I didn't download 5.4.1, see attached image showing the settings I used. Incidentally I'm using EMS 1.0.1.
