Upgrade of FortiOS to 7.0.6

If you are using FortiOS 6.4.8 and you need to stay on 6.4.x then the recommendation is to upgrade at least to 6.4.9 (or to 6.4.10 when it is released).

If you can upgrade to 7.0.x then its recommended to go to te latest patch release which is currently 7.0.6.

This really depends on the enabled features on your device.

As a best practice please read the release notes for 7.0.6 but also the interim releases 7.0.5, 7.0.4 etc and check for any known issues that might impact you.

FortiOS 7.0.6 is considered stable as its the 6th patch relase since 7.0.0 got released.

Many customers use this version at the moment.
