Can you guys suggest to a new similar model of 3810 A to a new model.

I am planning for a next gen firewall in private cloud datacenter. There are 1000 concurrent users and MPLS cloud link is 15 Mbps

    hi,

with these numbers you could downgrade to a midrange model, even a 100F. Did you mean '15 Gbps' maybe? Then it would depend on whether you need true 10G ports or not, which are available from the 500E up onwards.

Heck, even a 60F could sustain 1000 users and 15 Gbps firewalling, at around 1.000 US-$...sounds like these are not the only metrics which play a role here. But then again...we're talking about replacing an A series model. Time to look for a place at the museum for it. Each new generation increased the firewalling performance at least 5x, and 4-5 generations later you can pick literally any model to meet the old performance level.

Too vague a requirement to supply a recommendation. Do you have any details on concurrent sessions, do you need UTM, number of physical ports required, and throughput of 15mbps sounds low for 1000 users.
