Unable to push User and Authentication changes from FortiManager

Hey Guys,

 

I have been struggling to push changes in User & Authentication (i.e creating new local users) from the FortiManager to the FG. Whenever i try to use the installWizard it says there are no changes to push?!

I checked ADOM setting and all but im stuck. Policies etc. are being pushed just fine just the users are not

 

Fortios: 7.4.8 Build2795 (mature)

FortiManager: 7.47 mature

FMG by default only pushes the used objects (from ADOM DB).

 

Make sure the newly created users in ADOM DB (User & Authentication) are used in a policy. Then FMG will push them to the FGT.

    Hey @farhanahmed,

     

    thanks for the advice, but the issue ended up being that I had per device mapping activated and thats why it would not push it to the FG in question

      Hi

      Same problem here. And fixed deleting the per-device mapping in the user group.

      But I'm missing why this mapping is preventing the user to be detected as a "change" in the policy package, and installed in FGT.

      Please, could you explain?
