unable to install forticlient 7.0.7.0345 in laptop

error message: the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. the error code is 2711.

New laptop with windows 10 operating system. deleted temp prefetch files, given full permission to temp folder. deleted all forticlient adapter fron device manager. restarted the machine. But still same issue. But it is working in other systems.  Kindly help us .

Hi, if I'm not mistaken there should be a folder (either in temp or in C: / or in & appdata & with the logs of the installation attempt. Try also the forced removal tool of the forticlient that you find where you download the firmware from the fortinet Portal. After if you are logged in it should be called Forticlient_tools or something like that.There are some tools inside that might help you.

Hi ir,  we deleted temp %temp% , prefetch, then deleted the forticlient folder from program files, program files (x86), program data.  then from users deleted from appdata in each user login and administrator . deleted forticlient folder from regedit also. after we given search in c drive and deleted all the logs, cache reated to forticlient . then restarted the system. still same issue while trying to reinstall. kindly help us please.
