Ultrasurf 9.6+ filter

Here' s a good one. Users started complaining that certain web sites would no longer load start yesterday evening. I worked with one of my colleagues. Google Chrome and Firefox loaded the same sites without issue. Internet Explorer did not. I looked into application control and the web site was blocked due to the Ultrasurf 9.6+ filter getting hit (we block all proxy access, if possible). So now to get those few sites to load, I have to allow Ultrasurf 9.6+. This is stupid...

    and that' s on 4.2.12 or 4.2.13?

    We' ve got the same issue on 4.3.10 The Fortinet AppCtrl database 4.286 updated on Jan 11th contains Ultrasurf.9.6+^Proxy Is there a false positive from Fortinet App Ctrl?

    Same on 4.3.11 I also manually updated engine from 4.285 to 4.286 and still shows up. I assume it' s another false positive.

    I had a ticket open for this same issue (normal sites being blocked as Ultra Surf 9.6+). This was a problem with IPS signatures. I believe it was resolved with updates as of 1/15 (4.00288). I have re-enabled the application controls and the problem no longer exists.
