Hello,

I have a situation on a fortigate 100 E.

I have two policies in place, to permit communications between two vlans:

The policy wich permit communication between Production Lan to Vlan 102 is working, from 10.10.0.x i can access anything on 10.10.2.x

But the reverse policy is not working. I cannot access anything from 10.10.2.x to 10.10.0.x

My settings are in the picture below

The working policy

Not working policy

With anticipated thanks for pointing me in the right direction,

Hans

Hello,

Thank you for your valuable input. With debug flow, i saw that we have a policy route (made by the ex-it guy), which forward all traffic from this vlan to other internet connection.

For now we will leave it this way, until we phisically separate the newtworks near future

Thank you,

H

Hi Hanselix,

Packet sniffer, flow debug and a session dump will provide the possible cause for this traffic failure in the return direction. The commands are available in the following KB article.

https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Troubleshooting-Tip-Using-the-FortiOS-built-in-packet-sniffer/ta-p/194222

Could you please run the flow debug and packet sniffer to identify why the traffic is blocked?
