I would guess that probably your mail server is rejecting the mail but I' d need some more information on how you have things set up. Can you provide screenshots of the mail server setup?

thank' s for your reply, i think your question contains a part of the answer i' am looking for. the mail server config is the part i' am missing. could you please indicate where i can find the mail server configuration interface? actually i' ve just enabled the two factor authentication on the user account and entered the e-mail address. Thank you in advance for your help.

There are some helpful guides available, i.e. on page 154, here: http://docs.fortinet.com/fgt/handbook/50/5-0-5/fortios-handbook-50.pdf " To configure your FortiGate unit to send email or SMS messages go to System > Config > Messaging Servers"

I finally figured out where the mail config is on MR3 P15. the fortigate unit uses the same config to send FortiToken codes for two factor authentication and alert mail for events notification. Log&Report > Log Config > Alert E-mail

    Hi , all

My solution is, if you do not receive the activation email, you can directly enter the email address and activation code on the Fortitoken app to bind directly, which is effective.

FTVM # show user fortitoken config user fortitoken edit "FTKMxxxxxxE95B" set license "FTMTRIAxxxxxxDE30" set activation-code "EExxxxxxxxURGJ"
