Turning Application Control on monitor blocks all sites

Hi,

I have Application Control default on monitor (as came with my FortiWifi 60F) and it all worked fine, i was able to see which ip access which application on the application tab...

around the time i upgraded to FortiOS 7 it stopped working and now i can't access the internet if Application Control is turned on (monitoring only).

only if i turn it off for the policy i get internet access.

Any ideas?

I am having a similar problem since upgrading to 6.4.7 from 6.2.7. I have a ticket open but support can't reproduce.

if I have app control in a rule, internet access dies. Weirder still, if I look at the logs, I am seeing entries that are "allowed/permitted" on policy 0, which is the drop rule, with bytes sent, but no bytes received.
