Traffic Shaping User Group via Mac Address

I'm planning to implement a traffic shaping on address group (via mac address). The problem is that I get "entry not found" error. Is there any way to make this work? I can't use ip address on address group due to our dhcp server which is enabled on our fortigate.   FortiGate 1100E v6.2.3 build5401 (GA)

    I don't know the technical reasons why (maybe raise a ticket with TAC?), but MAC address objects cannot be used for shaping policies.  It sounds like you'll have to use specific IP ranges for the devices you want to shape and use that in your DHCP server and on the shaping policy.
