Traffic shaper drop traffic

Hi,

I have setup traffic shaper 'Multimedia-Priority' to guarantee bandwidth of 20Mbps. The current usage is 1.12kbps (below the guaranteed bandwidth) and yet i am seeing  drop bytes of 720.05kB.

 

Why am I seeing a packet drop when it is suppose to guarantee me 20Mbps?

    I think the "Dropped Bytes" in GUI ("packet dropped" and "bytes dropped" in CLI) is cumulative unlike Bandwidth Utilization. My guess is it was caught when you were configuring those shapers and shaping-policies in transition. If you have doubt I suggest you reboot it to let it start from 0 again.
