To use SFP interface as WAN interface

Dear All

 

Can i use SFP interface as WAN interface in 201E Firewall??

As there is a separate WAN interface in this firewall but i want to use SFP interface as WAN interface.

 

So please guide that it is possible or not in Fortigate Firewall 201E.

This question was asked in the forum many times. If you search on the internet you would find many including those at the forum. It should work fine. Just be aware of the gui limitation if the port has a specific "role" like wan, lan, dmz, configured. If you want to see all options in GUI, change it to "undefined" via CLI.
