Throughput on 50B with SSL and IPSEC VPN

Hello!

Quick questions for personal info: as I thought, acc. to datasheet, that IPsec on a Fortigate50b should be 5x times faster than the SSL VPN, I did manage to install IPSEC VPN. Unfortunately, both have the same speed. Mbit data is 15mbit both sides as Upload is smaller than Download.

So, I just guess, during all that Firmware Upgrades to 4.0 MR3, SSLVPN got faster and same as IPSEC. Am I right? As a client, I use the SSL-VPN Forticlient again, as the new Forticlient Suite seems to unable to safe passwords and VPN cant be started with one click.

Please don't advise for new Fortigate (I know, Services run out 2018, but I wont renew, as AV is not important any more, the rest like individual Webfilter or Port Forwarding will work fine, as I got told), I wont upgrade to a new one, as I like my old one and have some more stocked :)
