Switch port connecting with Physical switch no work

Hello,

 

I have Fortigate 100E.  When I connect the switch port to Physical switch, it does not active.  Both ADMIN and physical showing is DOWN.

 

However, it's work fine for WAN1 port. 

 

What should I do pre-setup to solve this problem?

    Hi,

    if the admin status is down then the link status will never go up, or am I missing something here? So under Network > Interfaces the Switch is enabled on the FortiGate? What if you connect a normal client to on of the switch ports on the FGT, do you get a link?

    Finally find because I have created new new Interface which is working as a switch mode.

     

    It can be keep physical interface mode and now resolved.

    Did you admin up the original port? If you had it admin down then that is why it didn't come alive.
