supported Fortigate for fortiAP 221C

I've got a fortiAp 221C. Now I'm looking for a Fortigate which has compatibility with this AP. Before I've tried with a FGT60D, but when I create a profile, it doesn't appear in the drop down list. The 221C is also not listed in the default list.

Does anyone know what are the compatible FGT's for this AP? Thanks!

Depending on the version of FortiOS on the FG60D, I think. What is the version?

It's v5.0.6

It's too old. If you can get it upgraded to 6.0.x, it should support 221Cs.

I´ve tried to upgrade it, but when it's looking for an update the updater says it has the latest version.

You have to have support on it, which shouldn't be too expensive for a 60D. Then you can download history of versions 5.0, 5.2, 5.4, 5.6, 6.0 from support.fortinet.com. I think 5.0 was more than 10 year old, which FAP221C didn't exist. Even if you get a different model of FortiGate, it wouldn't work either unless the OS version is relatively current.
