Support for device replaced with an RMA

Hello,

My account manager has told me that since we have replaced our Fortigate via RMA, that we can't renew support for the replacement device when the contract expires. This doesn't seem right. It's a 101E and is still a supported device.

Any thoughts?

Hello
Last Service Extension Date (LSED) for a FGT 101E is announced for next 15-july; so, assuming your unit has an active contract you could get a new one until EoS, a year ahead.

Did you transfer contract to the replacement unit as part of RMA procedure?

I realize that the 101E is end-of-life in July of next year. I would like to keep using it until then.

I've decided to trade in the 101E and get the 101F. The price was good, so might as well do that. Thanks.
