To access the FortiSandbox image, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the FortiCloud portal at https://support.fortinet.com.
2. Navigate to the 'Support' section and select 'VM Images' from the banner.
3. In the 'Select Product' dropdown list, choose 'FortiSandbox'.
4. In the 'Select Platform' dropdown list, select the desired platform, such as AliCloud.
5. Download the deployment package file, which will be named in the format FSA_ALI-vX-buildXXXX-FORTINET.deb.kvm.zip, where vX is the major version number and XXXX is the build number.

Ensure you have the necessary permissions and access rights to download the image.

Hello everyone,

 

I am a student working on my final year thesis about "implementing sandboxing technology for proactive security of incoming network traffic".

 

I would like to test FortiSandbox in my lab environment( ÈVE NG ), but I cannot find the image available for download. Could you please guide me on how to get access to it for academic purposes?

 

I've already checked:

 

· The official support portal

· The Fortinet document library

· Various resource sections

 

Is there a specific academic program or evaluation license available for students? Any information about how students can access Fortinet technologies for research would be incredibly helpful for my work.

From what I've seen on here, getting the FortiSandbox image for EVE-NG can be a bit of a process. The official instructions from the community team mention that you usually need to grab it from the FortiCloud support portal. You log in, go to the 'Support' section, find 'VM Images', and then pick FortiSandbox from the product dropdown
