Standalone Fortiswitch 1024D

Hello Everyone,

I plan to use Fortiswitch 1024D as standalone mode(not managed by Fortigate firewall). Can below actions realize?

1. 2 x Standalone Fortiswitch 1024D config MCLAG and become one switch.

2. If possible, Use this MCLAG switch as Layer 3 mode, config static route and Lay3 vlan interface.

I found in the document,

The routing feature is not available within a MCLAG.[/ul]

it says the routing feature is not available. i am not sure if the static route (hardware-based) available. The most important is the static route.
