Hello all I have a samba server with standardconfiguration under debian lenny at 10.10.10.21 with shared homedirectories. Further we have a Fortigate 100A with FortiOS 4.0.2. The SSL VPN works perfectly for FTP and RDP. If I now want to connet via SMB/CIFS by: //10.10.10.21/username/ I get prompted for password and username. But afterwards I get a blank window under firefox and a connection error under IE 7. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Does FTP also work with SSL encrypted connection? This would be an alternative to the SMB/CIFS protocol. Thank you!
