SSL VPN Connection drops right after connecting

Hi, right now I have a problem with one client using the SSL Client to connect. After clicking on " connect" the percentage counter goes up to 100 percent, then it says " connected" for about a half second and then it goes back to Disconnected. By now i already tried several client versions I rebooted the computer several times but nothing works. It just seems like when traffic wants to go through the tunnel it disconnects. Same thing in the SSL portal. RDP Native or HTTPS links work although. We got a FortiGate 80C running OS 4.0 MR3 Patch 11. That user is right now the only one that cannot connect, other users can. He tried different Internet connections, too. (Home / Work) Can anyone help me?

    M. Stiller, Here are some broad guesses in case you haven' t tried these already: 1. Problem with antivirus software? Try disabling. 2. Problem with wireless card? Try connecting via a wired connection to see if there' s a difference. 3. Try with a different computer but using the same credentials. Try to narrow down the differences between a working setup and the faulty one.

Additionally, try the same computer with a different user. May be an account setup issue.

Thanks for the replies, here is what I' ve been trying: - User on a different computer --> Works - Different User on same computer --> Same issue - Computer is connected via cable, WiFi cannot be tested, because the user has no wifi network available - AntiVirus software has beend disabled --> same issue The odd thing is, that I don' t even get a error message neither on the computer that is trying to connect nor in the firewall log. Can network card driver cause such problems?

Dumb question, but what group is the user in? ANd is he/she in the same group as the other user that work? I did a major typo in one my batch cli updates and had a simliar problem, the client would connect and you could see that setup ( ssl-client-hello/server-hello, cert,etc....) and right after the setup, the connection was drop. The user I was using was NOT associated to any group. debug diag app ssl 255 will show you the above. I would triple check the user and ensure that he/she is associated to the right user-group.
