SSID in tunnel-mode; How to connect it to a vlan-interface managed by FortiGate-firewall?

Hello friends,

at the moment I am learning how to configure FortiAPs on the FortiGate-firewall.

On the FortiGate-firewall I am using I have a vlan-interface on "port1" with vlan-id 100.

I also configured a dhcp-server on this vlan-interface.

Now I want to broadcast a SSID in tunnel-mode with a FortiAP I connected to the FortiGate-firewall and want to connect this SSID to the mentioned vlan-interface (with vlan-id 100). Is this possible?

Can somebody tell me how to configure it because I am new at this stuff : - ).

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Datax,

I believe you are looking for a similar implementation:
