SNMP monitoring of Fortiswitch managed by FortiGate (Fortilink)

Hi,

I've configured SNMP on the switch (124E) connected and managed by FWF 61E but I cannot see anything on my devices (Fluke) nor SNMP-monitoring software.

I've checked on different firmware: latest 5.6.x and 6.0.x

I can, however, monitor the FWF -I can see all info that I want.

Is it possible  in this configuration or Fortlink is just a marketing sh... and all what you can do is broadcast VLAN config to ports of managed switches ?

THA

Assuming the default Fortilink subnet, you have to make SNMP available on another interface. In our case, we add a system VLAN interface for our management VLAN.

You can do this through the switch CLI via the FortiGate's web interface (under switch controller).
