Question

Slowness towards the internal network connected to the fortisase vpn

Good Evening,

Currently the fortisase vpn has been implemented, however it is observed that the response times are high for both navigation and the internal network. Although the average time for browsing is 80 to 100ms, the response time for internal servers ranges between 180ms to 230ms, which generates slowness. Can these values be optimized?

Please note that for internal services there is a tunnel between a fortigate and the sase cloud which uses a SPA license.

Thank you very much, I remain attentive.

Hello IvanGarcia,

to investigate this case you can check the following:

1- Find if users are connected to nearest PoP location in FortiView Sources

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortisase/latest/administration-guide/197344/fortiview-monitors

2. Verify health and VPN tunnel status. Check the health status of each service connection for each region, representing each PoP.
