I have problems with simple SIP-Clients sitting in my local network to get inbound calls: (ISP on WAN1) -- (FG60B Route/NAT enabled outbound) -- (INT1 192.168.23.x) clients are Softphones connencting to external proxy (sipgate.at). Outbound call works, inbound not. policy out: INT1 all/all -> WAN1 all/all with NAT with policy web (log VoIP enabled). any idea, what the problem is ? Regarding to FortiGate SIP paper, it should work:
The FortiGate unit is operating in NAT/Route mode with NAT enabled. The following policy is required: • internal -> external to to allow Terminals A nd C to connect to the proxy server. Set service to SIP.

Any hint for us which FortiOS Version you' re using ? Do you have the SIP-ALG kicking in for inspecting udp/5060 ? Are you using STUN ? -R.

Sorry for the missing info: It´s a Fortigate-60B 3.00-b0741(MR7 Patch 5). I´ve read a lot about this SIP-ALG, but could not find anything in the config-gui. Maybe that is missing. I just activated VoIP-Logging in the used policy, but that did not change anything In the VoIP-Client there is no STUN-Server activated ... LGR
