Hi Guys,

I am using Fortigate SFP module on Fortigate firewall & using brocade & extreme SFP module on switch. but the port is not coming up.

Is there any compatibility issue with extreme & brocade SFP module ? Attached are the snapshots.Fortigate SFP ModuleFortigate SFP ModuleExtreme & Brocade SFP ModuleExtreme & Brocade SFP Module

That's because FTNT one is 10G SR and the others are 10G LR. You need to match between them and with the cable type, MM of SM.

Although there is no guarantee with other vendor SFP/SFP+s, FGTs generally don't check vendor code so I would expect those major vendor's ones work on any FGTs.

<edit> Wait. You said you have them on the swtich side, not on the FGT side. Then it's not about FGT's compatibility but switch's compatibility with those vendors instead.</edit>
