Hello, I'm new on Fortinet.

i explain my situation:

I have a FortiGate 200F connected to my 48 port switch. On my switch I have pc and Access Point that generate my WiFi. The first FortinetPort gives me the family 172.11.20.1/24 to switch but I want that only the access point have the captive portal enabled and have the ip 172.11.30.1/24

It's possible to do that or I have to separate the access point to another switch?

Hi,

Kindly let us known if you are using Fortiap or third party Access point. If you are using FortiAP , you can configure the SSID with captive portal with subnet 172.11.30.1/24 as shown in the below document wit.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortiap/6.4.0/fortiwifi-and-fortiap-cookbook/797528/deploying-captive-portal-ssid-to-fortiap-units

If you are using third party AP , you need to connect the AP or WLC to separate interface on the Fortigate and configure the interface with captive portal as shown in the below document.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.0.0/Handbook/934626/captive-portals#Config_captive_portal
