Sending syslog from FAD to FAZ

Hello,

 

Is it possible to send logs from a FortiADC to a FAZ using syslog? From the documentation I understand that FAZ can accept logs from any syslog supporting device, but I don't know how to configure this on FAZ. Can somebody help?

    Hello, 

     

    Can you please run  below commands on your FAZ:

     

    [ul]
  • get system status 
  • diagnose dvm device list [/ul]

    Also please specify the version of your FAD.

    Hello brazz_FTNT,

     

    Just to clarify that I haven't done anything yet in the FAZ or the FAD. So, the diag dvm dev list won't show anything about that. I'm only asking the procedure to add the FAD as a syslog device to FAZ.

    Ok so if this is the case , please take a look on these :

     

    Adding devices manually--->P{31}

     

    Syslog Server--->P{183}

     

     

     

    Generally, if your device is sending logs towards FAZ (FAZ is able to communicate- network wise), Under root ADOM , you will see unregistered device . 

    At that moment, you need to add the specific device to the desired ADOM,
