Hello,

 

How can I see the previous version of my 200D firmware? I've updated with no upgrade path and I wanted to restore it. I did not save the backup on my computer.

diag sys flash list

non-active one is the previous version before the last upgrade. Below is our FG60D's.

Alternative if to use  the revsion listing and or look at any previous saved FGT.conf  backups. The  version is  always at the top of the backup conf file.

Looks like Fortinet removed the Cookbook's upgrade path table from public access and are advising to use their upgrade path calculator on support.fortinet.com.  However, the calculator will only display upgrade paths from v5.2.9 and does not even include v5.4.8.  I cannot find a cached version of the Cookbook table anywhere.

 

I understand the firmware's release notes include verbiage concerning upgrade paths but this is not efficient whatsoever.  Ex. I  have a 100D on v5.2.4 and need to get it to v5.2.13.  Based on the release notes from all the various v5.2.x builds, I would have to upgrade the 100D from v5.2.4 >> v5.2.6 >> 5.2.8 >> 5.2.9 >> 5.2.11 >> 5.2.13!

 

Does anyone have a saved/cached version of the Cookbook upgrade path table?!

Thanks for your feedback regarding the upgrade paths.  The older paths are again available in the Cookbook at http://cookbook.fortinet.com/sysadmins-notebook/supported-upgrade-paths-fortios/

 

For customers with current support contracts, upgrade paths from 5.2.9 can be found under "Upgrade Path" at https://support.fortinet.com/Download/FirmwareImages.aspx
