Hi,

I am trying to configure SD-WAN but not sure why I am getting a disabled status on the SD-WAN zones as below:

image.png

Interface: virtual-wan-link

Link: *greyed arrow pointing down* (disabled)

Type: SD-WAN Zone

Interface: Test

Link: *greyed arrow pointing down* (disabled)

Type: SD-WAN Zone

Members:

wanport_1 (green icon)

wanport_2 (red icon)

Any reason why this is happening? How do I enable the sdwan zone?

Thanks!

Hi @heye - As far as I know, if there are no interfaces added to that SDWAN Zone, it is disabled by default. However, once an interface is added, it should turn green, indicating that the Zone is up.

Hello @heyyo,

Here is an article on enabling the sdwan interface: https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Enable-and-disable-SD-WAN-options/ta-p/193768

Do you have any interfaces in that zone as asked by @Ricky?
