Question

SCTP through 90G?

We've been working with private cellular, and one of the requirements is that SCTP be sent over the network. With a 60E or 60F, there are no problems. With a 90G, we aren't seeing the COOKIE-ECHO packets, at all. Put a 60F in, we see them in a packet capture, put the 90G back in and they don't show up.

Has anyone been successful in getting SCTP to work with a 90G?

The pool IP is the same as the PC address. 192.168.10.50. I assume port3 has an IP address in that subnet. Also I assume that the route has IP address on the two subnets. The fortigate already knows the route so just NAT it out at port 2.

Hi @felixcasa

My name is Bill from Fortinet. I would like to check and reproduce the issue in my lab. Could you share 2 packet capture files? and backup configuration as well.

I would recommend opening a ticket with TAC, if you haven't already. We have the exact same issue and are working with them on how to move forward.
