Restore historical data

Hello!,

We've recently installed Fortianalyzer VM-Hyperv 5.6 with a 3TB array for logs.

For audit policies we need to store at least 10 years of logs and navigation data.

Just in case, is there a way to restore archived "vhd" files it wihtout affecting saved data so we can generate requested historical reports?

We want to avoid any data convertion, modification or lost when restoring historical files (e.g when restoring a previous Fortianalyzer log file format).
