Question

Replacing a firewall that is a Wireless Controller?

Hello All,

I am upgrading an older 80c firewall to a newer D model. The old 80C model controls several FortiAPs. I'm wondering what exactly I will need to do to move these APs over to the new fortigate? I have the configuration all rebuilt on the new device - it's exactly the same, but am not sure if I need to register APs all over again?

Any Advice?

Do you mean registering APs to the 80D? If you had copied wireless-controller wtp to the 80D and it looked the same as in the 80C they were registered at that time.
